Victor Cruz popped the question to longtime girlfriend Elaina Watley, the mother of his daughter Kennedy, and a woman he has been involved with since high school. He proposed in front of friends and family during a baby dedication/baptism party they were having for their daughter, and now that footage has been leaked and shared by TMZ.
In it, Cruz can be seen leading prayer and at one point, he stops, faces Watley, and delivers this beautiful message to her before getting down getting down on one knee:
“While we’re under the name of the Lord, I wanted to say something to Elaina. I’ve loved you for about all my life, as far back as I can possibly remember. I’m shaking and I don’t know why [laughs]. Um, you’re beautiful to me. You are the light of my life. You’re the mother of my first-born child. I personally want to make an honest woman out of you.”
