Deven and Ressurrection met in a homeless shelter. Now, they work together assisting homeless people with obtaining housing and other resources. After their wedding at the Jefferson Memorial they went to feed the homeless.
They were featured in the Washington Post alongside the 50th Anniversary of the March on Washington. They believe Martin's dream before he was assassinated was to deploy the "Poor People's Campaign" to end poverty.
Deven and Ressurrection feel blessed to have found each other and look forward to a long, extraordinary life together. As a relationship tip they believe, intimate communication is necessary for a sustainable, spiritually uncompromised union.
