My husband is my everything. I met Adrian my freshman year in college and was immediately amused by his obvious interest in me. A shy man, it took Adrian a while to find the courage to approach me, but when he did…it sparked something magical within both of us. Only 18…and a newcomer to “womanhood” I found it challenging to open up my heart and allow love in. A childhood spent in foster care had taught me to not trust, never commit and always remain guarded.
I know that loving me was not always easy…but through it all Adrian’s love never faltered or waivered. He always remained patient, pure and willing to love me past my pain. Both committed Christians…we promised early on in our relationship to keep God first.
Though a struggle at times…we waited for marriage to share the most intimate expression of our love. 5 years later on June 2nd of this year I said yes to the man that has always said yes to me. The love that my husband gives has allowed me to grow even closer to God. I don’t think there is a better example of the love of Christ in all the Earth. I couldn’t imagine spending the rest of my life with anyone else. My husband is my everything…and now I get to spend the rest of my life…being his. #teamfisher
